Top Sante, Bauer Media’s women’s health and well-being title has a new editor, it was announced today.
Former editor Sharon Parsons returns to the role after an eight year absence.
Parsons was at the helm of the title between 1997 and 2000, when under Emap ownership. She left to edit IPC Media’s Homes and Ideas.
She returned to Emap in 2002 to edit Period Homes and Traditional Living. She also headed Archant’s the English Home for two years.
Parsons rejoined Top Sante as a consultant in November 2008.
She said: ‘It’s great to be back at Top Sante and have the opportunity to build on its strong and unique position in the health and women’s marketplace.
“Top Sante’s aim is to evolve into a smarter and livelier, more informed, accessible and relevant experience for those readers interested in health and wellbeing for themselves and their families.”
Parsons replaces Marina Cook who left last year.
Top Sante had a monthly circulation in the first half of 2008 of 92,981, down from 110,053 in the same period a year before, according to ABC.
